Year 1 Crops

"Year 1 crops" may not seem an informative title. However, year 1 refers to the fact that all of these crops need fertile soil; either ground that has been fallow, or manured the previous autumn/winter. Other crops will be "burnt" by manure or not grow vigourously in "dirty" soil after several years of being fallow.
